As a duck call maker with a passion for waterfowl hunting and land improvement projects, Art Beauchamp honed his craft as a visionary for flooded timber hunting in the state of Arkansas. In 1954, Art won the World Duck Call Championship and followed his title up in 1955 by capturing the title of “Champion of Champions” beating out fellow world champion duck callers. Along with a thriving duck call company that is still operating to this day, his property on Bayou Des Arc was his personal playground where he honed his craft. Constructing levee systems with a drag line and pumping his woods by syphoning water from the rising bayou, Art established one of the fist green tree reservoirs in the state. Although Art passed away in 1981, his legacy continues to be honored and lives on inside of the Beauchamp Duck Woods!
